По состоянию на 2017 год в Бангладеш насчитывалось 222,9 тысячи взрослых, которые в настоящее время используют электронные сигареты (никотиновые устройства для вейпинга), при этом распространённость вейпинга среди взрослых составляла 0,2%, а 0,4% взрослых когда-либо пробовали вейпинг с электронными сигаретами. В январе 2025 года в Бангладеш был принят строгий закон, регулирующий электронные сигареты, который значительно ужесточил правовые нормы в отношении их использования и распространения. Согласно этому закону, любая реклама электронных сигарет полностью запрещена. Теперь запрещён ввоз электронных сигарет и никотина как для личного пользования, так и для торговли. Кроме того, продажа устройств для электронных сигарет и никотина запрещена, а также введён запрет на покупку этих товаров через интернет.

In Bangladesh, GATS was conducted in 2017 as a household survey of persons 15 years of age. A multi-stage, geographically clustered sample design was used to produce nationally representative data. There were a total of 12,783 completed individual interviews.
