Według danych z 2017 roku w Bangladeszu było 222,9 tysiąca osób aktualnie używających e-papierosów, co odpowiadało 0,2% dorosłej populacji, natomiast 0,4% dorosłych przyznało, że kiedykolwiek próbowało wapowania e-papierosów. W styczniu 2025 roku Bangladesz uchwalił surową ustawę regulującą e-papierosy, znacznie zaostrzając przepisy dotyczące ich używania i dystrybucji. Zgodnie z tym prawem całkowicie zakazano wszelkiej reklamy e-papierosów. Obecnie wwożenie e-papierosów lub nikotyny do kraju, zarówno na własny użytek, jak i w celach handlowych, jest nielegalne. Zakazana jest także sprzedaż urządzeń do wapowania oraz nikotyny, a kupowanie tych produktów przez internet również jest niedozwolone.
