Terapia zastępcza nikotynowa (NRT) jest w Bangladeszu zakazana prawem, a jej produkty nie są regulowane jako produkty lecznicze ani nie znajdują się na krajowej liście leków podstawowych. W związku z tym sprzedaż produktów NRT jest nielegalna. Nie wiadomo, czy istnieje możliwość ich sprowadzania na własny użytek, dlatego zaleca się posiadanie przy sobie recepty lub dokumentu potwierdzającego zakup.
