En Kenia, los productos de tabaco calentado (HTPs, por sus siglas en inglés) están permitidos por la ley. La venta, compra y uso de estos productos son legales y pueden adquirirse sin necesidad de receta médica. No existen restricciones respecto a la variedad de sabores disponibles. Sin embargo, es importante destacar que los envases deben llevar advertencias sanitarias visibles y está prohibida toda forma de publicidad relacionada con los HTPs. La tasa de impuesto especial se fija en el 10% del impuesto aplicado a los cigarrillos convencionales. En resumen, los productos de tabaco calentado están autorizados en Kenia, aunque están sujetos a ciertas regulaciones.
