W Kenii używanie podgrzewanych wyrobów tytoniowych (HTP) jest legalne. Sprzedaż, zakupu i użytkowanie HTP prawo nie zabrania, a produkty te można nabyć bez recepty. Nie obowiązują też ograniczenia dotyczące ich smaków. Należy jednak pamiętać o kilku istotnych regulacjach: na opakowaniach HTP muszą być umieszczone ostrzeżenia zdrowotne, a wszelkie formy reklamy tych produktów są zakazane. Stawka akcyzy wynosi 10% podatku stosowanego wobec tradycyjnych papierosów. Podsumowując, podgrzewane wyroby tytoniowe są w Kenii dozwolone, choć objęte pewnymi regulacjami.
