En comparación, en 2016 se registraron 962 muertes por tabaquismo, lo que muestra un aumento destacado a lo largo de los años. Estos datos ponen de relieve el reto que sigue representando el consumo de tabaco para la salud pública en Eritrea y subrayan la importancia de mantener los esfuerzos destinados a abordar este problema.
