La terapia de sustitución de nicotina (TSN) está permitida en Congo. Por lo tanto, la venta y el uso de productos de TSN son legales, y su adquisición sin receta médica está autorizada. Aunque estos productos no se regulan como medicamentos, se pueden conseguir en farmacias de todo el país. El gobierno no ofrece apoyo financiero para la TSN, ya que estos productos no están incluidos en la lista nacional de medicamentos esenciales.
