Mexico bans the import, sale, distribution, display, and promotion of e-cigarettes. Despite this, data show that there were approximately 2 million adult current vapers in the country as of 2025. This shows that the adult current vaping prevalence was 2.6% overall, 1.8% among females, and 3.3% among males. In a survey in Mexico in 2017, 6% of participants stated that they had ever tried vaping.
