The Global State of Tobacco Harm Reduction (GSTHR) is a free resource mapping the availability and use of safer nicotine products, regulatory responses to them, and the public health potential of tobacco harm reduction at the national, regional and global level.

The information is collated and analysed from a wide range of publicly available, independently published sources including national and international academic, business intelligence, regulatory and public data sources, and is informed and validated by key informants across the world.
The GSTHR project is funded with a grant from Global Action to End Smoking (formerly known as Foundation for Smoke-Free World), an independent, U.S. nonprofit 501(c) (3) grant making organisation, accelerating science-based efforts worldwide to end the smoking epidemic. Global Action played no role in designing, implementing, data analysis, or interpretation of the report nor did Global Action edit or approve any presentations or publications from the report. The contents, selection, and presentation of facts, as well as any opinions expressed, are the sole responsibility of the authors and should not be regarded as reflecting the positions of Global Action to End Smoking.
Also with the support of the Global Action to End Smoking, KAC runs the Tobacco Harm Reduction Scholarships Programme (THRSP) for individuals already working in or planning a career in tobacco harm reduction. For more information on the THR Scholarships and how to apply, visit the programme website.
