E-cigarettes and vaping are legally allowed in Georgia. Vaping products are neither allowed to be purchased through online channels nor from vending machines. Manufacturers are required to notify the authorities of introduction of new vaping products into the market, but they are not required to place health warnings on the packaging of vaping products. Advertising of e-cigarettes in any form is banned. Restrictions also exist on vaping in public places and the total taxation rate on vaping products is 0.2 Georgian Lari per milliliter. Notably, no restrictions exist on flavours.

There were an estimated 43,771 current e-cigarette users / vapers in Georgia in 2021, representing an adult current vaping prevalence of 1.4%. This prevalence was 0.5% among females and 2.3% among males in 2021. The number of daily vapers in Georgia was estimated to be 12,506 in 2021, representing an adult daily vaping prevalence of 0.4%. Daily vaping prevalence was 0.4% among adult females and males in 2022.
