In Sweden, Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are regulated as tobacco products and are allowed for sale and use including sales through online channels. These products can be found in general retail stores. However, the law does not allow health benefit claims about these products and requires manufacturers to place health warning on their packaging. As of 2020, HTP use in Sweden stood at 0.4%. In total, 0.1% of adults use using HTP every day. 4.6% of the population have ever tried using HTP.
