В Катаре никотин-заместительная терапия (НЗТ) разрешена законом, а её препараты регулируются как лекарственные средства. Таким образом, продажа препаратов НЗТ легальна, однако для их приобретения требуется рецепт. Препараты НЗТ доступны в аптеках по всей стране. Государство поддерживает НЗТ, включив её в список жизненно важных лекарственных средств Катара, благодаря чему стоимость НЗТ полностью покрывается государством.
