В Катаре действуют строгие ограничения в отношении стиковых табачных изделий (ПНТ): установлен регуляторный запрет на их использование. ПНТ приравниваются к табачной продукции, и в соответствии с действующим законодательством запрещены их ввоз как для коммерческих, так и для личных целей, а также продажа, покупка, продвижение и любая форма рекламы. Подобные запреты могут лишить тех, кто курят, доступа к потенциально менее вредным способам потребления никотина, увеличивая риск заболеваний, связанных с курением.
