В Мальдивской Республике не существует специальных законов, регулирующих никотиновые паучи. Тем не менее, они отнесены к категории табачных изделий, что позволяет их продажу и использование при соблюдении определённых ограничений. На упаковке табачных изделий обязательно должны размещаться предупреждения о вреде для здоровья. Минимальный возраст для покупки установлен на уровне 21 года, а любая реклама запрещена.
