Традиционные бездымные табачные изделия разрешены и регулируются в Габоне как табачная продукция. Их использование и продажа законны, однако онлайн-покупки не допускаются. Реклама бездымного табака регулируется. В отличие от многих других стран, предупреждения о вреде здоровью на упаковке не требуются. При этом минимальный возраст для покупки бездымного табака составляет 18 лет. Что касается распространённости, по данным на 2014 год, доля взрослых, которые в настоящее время употребляют традиционный бездымный табак, составляла 0,48% среди мужчин и 0,34% среди женщин.
