El tabaco tradicional sin humo está permitido y regulado como producto de tabaco en Gabón. Su uso y venta son legales, pero no se permite la compra en línea. La publicidad de tabaco sin humo está sujeta a regulación. A diferencia de muchos países, no se exige la inclusión de advertencias sanitarias en el empaquetado. Sin embargo, la edad mínima legal para comprar tabaco sin humo es de 18 años. En cuanto a la prevalencia, según datos de 2014, el consumo actual de tabaco tradicional sin humo entre adultos fue del 0,48 % en los hombres y del 0,34 % en las mujeres en el país.
