Электронные сигареты официально запрещены в Чили, включая их приобретение через интернет. Несмотря на этот запрет, по данным за 2022 год, в стране насчитывалось примерно 153 800 человек, которые в настоящее время курят электронные сигареты. Распространённость использования электронных сигарет среди взрослых составляла 1% в целом, при этом среди женщин — 0,5%, а среди мужчин — 1,4%. В том же году ежедневное употребление электронных сигарет среди взрослых оценивалось в 0,6% в целом, включая 0,3% среди женщин и 0,9% среди мужчин.
