E-papierosy są w Chile zakazane prawnie, włącznie z ich zakupem przez internet. Mimo tego zakazu, dane z 2022 roku wskazują, że w kraju było około 153 800 aktualnych użytkowników e-papierosów. Częstość używania e-papierosów wśród dorosłych wynosiła ogółem 1%, w tym 0,5% wśród kobiet i 1,4% wśród mężczyzn. W tym samym roku szacunkowy odsetek dorosłych codziennie używających e-papierosów wyniósł 0,6% ogółem, w tym 0,3% wśród kobiet oraz 0,9% wśród mężczyzn.
