Na marzec 2025 roku liczba użytkowników podgrzewanych wyrobów tytoniowych (HTP) została oszacowana na 312 000 osób, co stanowiło 4,1% dorosłej populacji, w tym 0,7% kobiet i 3,4% mężczyzn. W Jordanii podgrzewane wyroby tytoniowe są legalne i regulowane jako produkty tytoniowe. Sprzedaż i zakup HTP są dozwolone, a import tych produktów w celach handlowych jest legalny, co pośrednio oznacza także możliwość importu na użytek własny, choć brak jednoznacznego źródła potwierdzającego to wprost. Obowiązują liczne ograniczenia regulacyjne: zakazana jest reklama i promocja HTP, produkty te muszą być sprzedawane w opakowaniach zabezpieczonych przed dostępem dzieci i ingerencją osób trzecich, na opakowaniach muszą znajdować się ostrzeżenia zdrowotne, a dodatkowo obowiązują ograniczenia dotyczące smaków tych produktów. Użytkowanie HTP w miejscach publicznych nie jest dozwolone. Podgrzewane wyroby tytoniowe są opodatkowane na zasadach przewidzianych dla produktów tytoniowych, m.in. poprzez akcyzę w wysokości 3 JOD za 200 sztuk.
