W Jordanii występują istotne różnice w rozpowszechnieniu palenia tytoniu wśród dorosłych ze względu na płeć oraz w czasie. W 2022 roku odsetek palących dorosłych wyniósł 36,3%, przy czym wśród mężczyzn odnotowano 57,8%, a wśród kobiet 13,4%. Oznacza to niewielki wzrost w porównaniu z rokiem 2020, kiedy ogólny wskaźnik wynosił 35,2% (57,4% u mężczyzn i 12,7% u kobiet). Liczba palaczy w Jordanii w 2022 roku wynosiła około 2 483 982 osoby, co stanowi spadek w porównaniu z rokiem 2020, kiedy odnotowano 2 775 597 palących. W 2020 roku dzienne palenie tytoniu wśród dorosłych dotyczyło 37,3% populacji (58,9% mężczyzn i 15,1% kobiet).
