As of March 2025, the number of Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) users was estimated to be 312,000 individuals. This corresponds to a prevalence of 4.1% among adults, with 0.7% among females and 3.4% among males.
In Jordan, Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are legal and regulated as tobacco products. The sale and purchase of HTPs are permitted, and it is legal to import the product for trade, which also implies import for personal use, although no specific source explicitly confirms this.
There are several regulatory restrictions in place: advertising and marketing of HTPs are banned, and these products must be sold in childproof and tamper-proof containers. Health warnings are required on the packaging, and there are restrictions on the flavours of these products. Additionally, HTPs are not permitted to be used in public places.
