La prevalencia en adultos se reportó en 0.2%, sin casos registrados entre mujeres y con un 0.4% entre hombres. El producto está permitido por la ley y regulado como producto de tabaco. En virtud de estas regulaciones, es legal usar, comprar y vender tabaco sin humo tradicional en el país. Sin embargo, existen algunas restricciones: toda la publicidad de tabaco sin humo está prohibida y los empaques deben incluir advertencias sanitarias. La edad mínima para la compra es de 18 años.
