En Irak no existe una ley específica que regule explícitamente los productos de tabaco calentado (HTPs). No obstante, se aplican a estos productos las normativas generales sobre tabaco. Según dichas regulaciones, está prohibido importar HTPs para uso personal, su publicidad no está permitida, es obligatorio incluir advertencias sanitarias en sus empaques y la edad mínima para su compra es de 18 años.
