In Nigeria, nicotine pouches are legal, including their sale, online purchase, and use. There are no restrictions on the range of their flavours. However, some restrictions still apply: health claims are not permitted, and the nicotine content is limited to less than 16.6 mg per pouch. The excise tax rate ranges from 10% to 50% of the tax levied on cigarettes.
