Traditional smokeless tobacco is allowed in Congo and is regulated as a tobacco product under national law. Thus the sale of the product is legal, and individual use is also permitted. However, the online purchase of traditional smokeless tobacco is not allowed. All packaging must carry a health warning, in line with tobacco product regulations. In addition, only individuals 18 and over are allowed to purchase smokeless tobacco.
