В соответствии с этими правилами продажа, покупка и использование снюса разрешены на законных основаниях, при этом ассортимент вкусов не ограничен. Однако сохраняются определённые требования: производители обязаны размещать на упаковке предупреждения о вреде для здоровья, а любые заявления о предполагаемой пользе для здоровья запрещены. Акциз на снюс установлен на уровне 50% либо эквивалентен ставке налога, применяемой к сигаретам.
