Хотя официальная статистика по употреблению традиционных бездымных табачных изделий в Гане отсутствует, этот продукт разрешён и регулируется как табачное изделие. Таким образом, употребление и продажа бездымного табака легальны, однако покупка этого продукта через интернет запрещена. Кроме того, существует полный запрет на рекламу всех видов в любых средствах массовой информации. Требуется нанесение предупреждений о вреде для здоровья на упаковку, защищённую от детей, а продажа разрешена только тем, кому исполнилось 18 лет.
