В Колумбии курение разрешено с определёнными ограничениями. Продажа сигарет допускается, их также можно приобретать через интернет, однако покупка в торговых автоматах запрещена. Ввоз сигарет для коммерческих целей разрешён только при наличии лицензии. На упаковках сигарет обязательно размещение предупреждений о вреде для здоровья, а минимальный возраст для покупки сигарет составляет 18 лет. Существуют законодательные ограничения на курение в общественных местах, а реклама сигарет полностью запрещена. На сигареты действует совокупная ставка налога в размере 65%. По состоянию на 2024 год в Колумбии насчитывалось около 2,4 миллионов взрослых людей, которые курят, при общем уровне распространённости курения среди взрослых 8%. Среди мужчин этот показатель составил 11,9%, среди женщин — 4,2%. По данным на 2017 год было примерно 2,4 миллиона ежедневных курящих, при ежедневной распространённости курения среди взрослых 6,5%: среди мужчин — 9,8%, среди женщин — 3,4%. В 2021 году употребление сигарет предположительно привело к 13 200 смертям в Колумбии, из них 9 200 среди мужчин и 4 000 среди женщин. Это означает, что курение составило причину 3,72% всех случаев смерти в стране, в том числе 4,58% среди мужчин и 2,61% среди женщин.
