В Швейцарии стиковые табачные изделия (ПНТ) считаются табачными изделиями, поэтому их можно продвигать на рынке так же, как и другие табачные изделия. Для стиковых табачных изделий не требуется предварительное одобрение. Однако они отличаются от традиционных табачных изделий тем, что требования к предупреждениям о вреде для здоровья и уровню налогообложения не совпадают с требованиями, применяемыми к сигаретам. Распространенность текущего использование ПНТ среди взрослых составляет 3.3%.
