W Szwajcarii podgrzewane wyroby tytoniowe są traktowane jako wyroby tytoniowe, dlatego mogą być wprowadzane do obrotu na takich samych zasadach jak inne tego typu produkty. Podgrzewane wyroby tytoniowe nie wymagają wcześniejszej akceptacji ze strony władz.
