Нигерия входит в число стран, где законодательно разрешены стиковые табачные изделия (ПНТ). В соответствии с действующими нормами, продажа, использование и покупка ПНТ в интернете легальны. Однако правила, касающиеся ввоза ПНТ для личного пользования, остаются неясными. Кроме того, отсутствуют ограничения по ассортименту доступных вкусов. Тем не менее, существуют определённые требования регулирования: запрещено размещать заявления о пользе для здоровья, на упаковке должны быть предупреждения о вреде для здоровья, а ставка акцизного налога на ПНТ составляет 10% от налога, установленного для сигарет.
