W Arabii Saudyjskiej palenie tytoniu wśród osób dorosłych w wieku 15 lat i więcej pozostaje istotnym problemem zdrowia publicznego. W 2022 roku liczba osób palących tytoń wynosiła około 4 310 784, co oznacza stopniowy wzrost w porównaniu z 3 211 720 w 2019 roku. Odsetek palących dorosłych wyniósł w 2022 roku 16,2%, co stanowi nieznaczny wzrost względem 15,6% w 2020 roku oraz 12,7% w 2019 roku. Szczególnie wysoki był odsetek wśród mężczyzn – 26,3% w 2022 roku, w porównaniu do 24,7% w 2020 roku i 24,2% w 2019 roku.
