Terapia substytucyjna nikotynowa (NRT) jest w Maroku dozwolona przez prawo, choć jej produkty nie są objęte regulacjami jako leki. W związku z tym legalne jest używanie i sprzedaż produktów NRT, a ich zakup nie wymaga recepty. Produkty NRT są dostępne w aptekach na terenie całego kraju. Jednak państwo nie wspiera tej terapii, ponieważ NRT nie znajduje się na marokańskiej liście leków podstawowych.
