W 2022 roku rozpowszechnienie palenia tytoniu wśród osób dorosłych w wieku 15 lat i starszych na Komorach wyniosło 11,9%, przy wyraźnych różnicach między płciami. Wskaźnik palenia wśród mężczyzn wynosił 21,7%, podczas gdy wśród kobiet jedynie 2%. Dane te różnią się od wcześniejszych danych z 2020 roku, kiedy ogólna częstość palenia wynosiła nieco mniej – 11,8%, w tym 21,4% wśród mężczyzn i 2,3% wśród kobiet.
