W 2012 roku w Komorach było około 82 500 obecnych użytkowników tradycyjnych wyrobów tytoniowych bezdymnych. Ogólna aktualna rozpowszechnienie używania tradycyjnych bezdymnych wyrobów tytoniowych wśród dorosłych wynosiła 18,4 procent, przy czym wśród mężczyzn stanowiła 19,5 procent, a wśród kobiet 17,4 procent. Odsetek codziennych użytkowników tych produktów wynosił 16,4 procent, w tym 17,1 procent wśród mężczyzn i 15,4 procent wśród kobiet. Tradycyjne bezdymne wyroby tytoniowe są dozwolone i regulowane jako produkty tytoniowe w Komorach. Ich sprzedaż i używanie są legalne, a zakup online jest dozwolony. Na opakowaniach wymagane są jednak ostrzeżenia zdrowotne, a sprzedaż podlega ograniczeniu wiekowemu – minimalny wiek nabywcy wynosi 18 lat.
