En Uganda, la prevalencia del vapeo de cigarrillos electrónicos en adultos es del 1.7%. Los cigarrillos electrónicos están prohibidos en el país y se regulan como productos de tabaco; por lo tanto, la venta tanto de los dispositivos de cigarrillos electrónicos como de la nicotina está prohibida.
