En 2013, el consumo de tabaco tradicional sin humo en Seychelles era muy bajo, con una estimación de 215 adultos usuarios, lo que corresponde aproximadamente al 0,3% de la población adulta. La prevalencia según el género también era baja: 0,4% en mujeres y 0,3% en hombres, mientras que el uso diario era del 0,2% en general, con un 0,3% de mujeres y un 0,2% de hombres consumiendo tabaco sin humo cada día. Desde el punto de vista regulatorio, el tabaco tradicional sin humo está permitido en Seychelles y se regula como un producto de tabaco; su venta y uso son legales. Sin embargo, los envases deben incluir advertencias sanitarias conforme a las normas nacionales. Además, existe una edad mínima de venta de 18 años para asegurar el control de acceso según la edad. El país también aplica una prohibición total de toda forma de publicidad de productos de tabaco sin humo.
