Según las estadísticas más recientes disponibles, en 2013 la prevalencia del consumo de tabaco sin humo de tipo tradicional entre adultos en Namibia era relativamente baja, con un 2.3 % de mujeres y un 1.8 % de hombres que declararon ser usuarios actuales. El tabaco sin humo tradicional está permitido y regulado como producto de tabaco según la legislación nacional, por lo que su venta y uso son legales tanto en establecimientos físicos como en línea. Sin embargo, el empaquetado debe incluir advertencias sanitarias y la venta de estos productos está restringida a personas de 18 años o más.
