Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is allowed in Tunisia. It is legal to sell NRT products which are available in pharmacies; however, purchasing them requires a prescription. Although these products are not included on the country's essential drugs list, the government fully covers NRT cost. NRT market value in Tunisia was estimated to be 0.2 million € in 2019.
