In Nigeria, sources like Global Tobacco Control indicate that no specific regulations exist for e-cigarettes and vaping. However, Tobacco Control Laws reports that e-cigarettes are allowed, there are no age restrictions, and people can use e-cigarettes in indoor public places, workplaces, and public transport.
Additionally, vapes are available for sale in the country. A scoping review by Adegbile OE found that the prevalence of e-cigarette use in Nigeria is 11.8%.
