In Luxembourg, Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are banned. However, despite the ban, available data show that people still use these products. There were an estimated 5,406 HTP adult users in 2023, which shows an increase from an estimated 3,000 HTP users in 2020. This means that the prevalence of HTP use among adults increased from 0.5% to 1.0% in 2023. Daily use of HTP increased from 0.3% in 2020 to 0.8% in 2023.
