Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are legally allowed in Finland including their sales and use. However, their online sales are not legal. These products can be found in general retail. The law requires health warnings on HTPs' packaging, and enforce restrictions on their flavours. Health benefit claims regarding these products are not allowed. By 2020, HTP had been used by around 1.4% of individuals in Finland. In total, 0.9% of adults use using HTP every day. 4.2% of the population have ever tried using HTP.
