По состоянию на 2016 год распространённость ежедневного употребления традиционных некурительных табачных изделий среди взрослых в Кот-д’Ивуаре составляла в целом 1,8%. Среди мужчин этот показатель был 2%, а среди женщин — 1,7%. Традиционные некурительные табачные изделия разрешены и регулируются как табачный продукт в стране. Вся реклама запрещена. Продажа этого продукта разрешена, однако приобретение через интернет не допускается. Кроме того, на всей упаковке обязательны предупреждения о вреде для здоровья, а минимальный возраст для покупки установлен на уровне 18 лет.
