Hasta 2016, la prevalencia de uso diario de tabaco tradicional sin humo en adultos en Costa de Marfil era del 1,8% en general. Entre los hombres, la tasa era del 2% y entre las mujeres, del 1,7%. El tabaco tradicional sin humo está permitido y se regula como un producto de tabaco en el país. Existe una prohibición total de la publicidad. La venta del producto es legal, pero no está permitido comprarlo por internet. Además, se exige que todos los envases lleven advertencias sanitarias, y hay una restricción de edad mínima de 18 años para la compra del producto.
