В 2018 году распространённость потребления традиционных бездымных табачных изделий среди взрослых в Бенине составляла 6,9% среди мужчин и 1% среди женщин. Традиционные бездымные табачные изделия в стране разрешены законом и регулируются как табачная продукция. Продажа, использование и покупка этих изделий разрешены. Несмотря на то что продукция продвигается на рынке, вся реклама запрещена. Кроме того, на упаковке обязательно размещаются предупреждения о вреде для здоровья, а продажа разрешена только людям старше 18 лет.
