Что касается влияния на здоровье, в 2021 году смертность, связанная с употреблением табака, составила 10,59% от общего числа случаев смерти в стране, что эквивалентно 66 327 смертям (15,6% всех мужских и 4,08% всех женских смертей). Эти данные подчёркивают серьёзные вызовы для общественного здравоохранения, связанные с употреблением табачных изделий в Таиланде, и требуют продолжения усилий для смягчения его неблагоприятных последствий для здоровья.
