W Zimbabwe dozwolone jest stosowanie nikotynowej terapii zastępczej (NRT), a korzystanie z produktów NRT, ich sprzedaż i zakup w aptekach na receptę są legalne. Jednakże rząd nie zapewnia wsparcia finansowego na pokrycie kosztów terapii, ponieważ NRT nie znajduje się na liście podstawowych leków w kraju i nie jest regulowana jako produkt leczniczy.
