Na Seszelach szacuje się, że w 2022 roku rozpowszechnienie palenia tytoniu wśród osób dorosłych w wieku 15 lat i starszych wynosiło 20,7%, przy czym wśród mężczyzn odsetek ten stanowił 34,6%, a wśród kobiet 5,6%. Dane dotyczące zgonów związanych z paleniem z 2021 roku wskazują, że 10,53% wszystkich zgonów w kraju można było przypisać paleniu tytoniu, przy wyższym odsetku wśród mężczyzn (15,75%) niż wśród kobiet (3,76%).
