Ustawa o tytoniu – ustawa (1993:581) o wyrobach tytoniowych (art. 12 f) – wdraża artykuł 19 unijnej dyrektywy tytoniowej, obejmujący nowe wyroby tytoniowe i mający zastosowanie do podgrzewanych wyrobów tytoniowych. Przepisy regulują kwestie sprawozdawczości, zgłoszeń oraz ostrzeżeń zdrowotnych umieszczanych na opakowaniach. Szwedzka Agencja Zdrowia Publicznego sprawuje nadzór regulacyjny nad podgrzewanymi wyrobami tytoniowymi, jednak do tej pory nie korzystała z tego uprawnienia.
