W Nepalu nie istnieją szczegółowe regulacje dotyczące podgrzewanych wyrobów tytoniowych. Ponieważ jednak są one traktowane i regulowane jako wyroby tytoniowe, obowiązują wobec nich określone ograniczenia. Wyrobów tytoniowych nie wolno sprzedawać osobom niepełnoletnim (poniżej 18. roku życia), a ich promocja i reklama są całkowicie zakazane. Używanie tych produktów jest zabronione w miejscach publicznych. W stolicy kraju, Katmandu, zarówno sprzedaż, jak i używanie wyrobów tytoniowych jest nielegalne.
